Katie is married to her high school sweetheart Jason and they have one daughter Katelyn. Her interests include, travel, riding on the back of a Harley motorcycle, all things water related (swimming, boating, beaching, etc.), outdoor activities including camping and hiking, and quiet time just reading. She enthusiastically serves the youth in her church and dedicates many hours to them.
